This Lock50 demo shows how to remove a JLR Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module (JPLA-19H440-CE/DE) from a Land Rover/Jaguar (2018+). Using the Lock50 HW03 clip with VVDi Prog software, the SPC560B60L3 MCU's D flash data is read and saved. This data is then used with Lock50 HW01 software to precode a Lock50 HW02 key emulator. The video demonstrates an emergency start of the vehicle without the RFA module connected, showcasing the emulator's functionality.

I removed, I removed the side cover. Three clips and the rest is just snugs on the bottom. RFA was right up where you saw in the previous video. This is the RFA, that's how it looks inside. And this is where we're gonna connect our clip. See it well. So this is, it just opens with with clips around it very simply. It's literally a second to to open, you just pop the tabs out and it just opens up right away. There's no need for cleaning of the flux. That area is all the times that I've seen it's exposed. So in this case, I have the Lock50 hardware, which is this one, with the USB cable. It comes, it comes with a clip to read. The reading is gonna be done by VVDI Prog. So I'm gonna connect the Prog and then I'm gonna power it up. I'll give the Prog 12 volts. The clip simply attaches this way, facing it up. You're just gonna go ahead and just let the pins drop right in the holes. It lines up pretty easily. Alright guys, this is the last portion of the video. You can see that this is the Lock50, that's the hardware. Connects with USB to the computer. I'm gonna go ahead and open the software. The software verifies the unit itself. Over here we're gonna drop down menu, dump viewer. We're gonna go ahead and open the D-flash file. I didn't read the C-flash as well, but we need the D-flash in this case. When you open it here you can see that it opens up, it gives you the V number, you can verify that. And then it gives you the keys that are in the system. We're gonna go ahead and open the emulator maker. I'm gonna open the same D-flash file and then I'm going to make an emulator. So this key is an emulator key. I'm gonna put it right here on the Lock50. And then I'm gonna emulate a key. It's basically done. Now the RFA is not connected to the vehicle, still in my vehicle. And you can see because that key is on the BCM. Again, there is no, there is no RFA connected. You can see the plugs right here. Right now when I'm going to the vehicle. Now sometimes by the way, the the steering wheel is pushed all the way in. So if it doesn't fit, I just take it out of the out of the the shell of the key and then just put the board on. So you can see there is no recognition. I'm gonna go ahead and put the key right against the reader. And you can see that our vehicle starts. Let me go ahead and start it all the way. You can see the car is running. And again the RFA is not even connected to the vehicle. We created a key that's on the system, on the BCM. Car is running with no RFA connected.
