PEPS smart keys

It details removing and opening the RFA module, then using a Lock50 clip with VVDI Prog to read the D-flash data from the SPC560B60L3 chip. The extracted data is then used with the Lock50 JLR Key Tool to generate an emulator key. Hello everyone, this is Sean with Lock50.co.uk. In the previous video, you guys saw how we remove the RFA module from a specific vehicle. Now we have the RFA module in our hands. We're gonna go ahead and open it up and I'll show you how to read it. So there are two screws, two torque screws, and there are tabs around three sides of the unit, which is going to get it open. Once we have the RFA open, this is the communication port that we're going to go for, right here. We're going to be using a clip that is supplied with the Lock50. This is the clip. It has pogo pins that's going to drop right into those holes. And then we'll be able to have communication with the module and be able to read it. So this is how it sits. That's the right orientation. Just going to land it right there. And then I'd like to show you guys on we're going to be using VVDI Prog in this case. I'm going to show you the correct choice of file. So this is our choice. We're going to go type 2 MCU under ST. And then we're going to choose the SPC 560. There are two options that are close and these are it. So we are 560, and I'll show you in a moment how to see it. And then this is the mask on our specific RFA. They can be different. In just a moment I'll show you the mask as well. Gonna use a digital magnifying glass. I'll take the clip off just so you guys can see the writing. Here you go. I hope it's coming true. So you can see SPC 560 B as in Bravo 60L3. So this is our mask. I'm going to go ahead and attach the the the clip again. After choosing the right mask on the software, what we care for is D flash, which is chosen right here. And then I'm going to hit read. All right, I'll put the phone down. I'm going to go ahead and save the file as D flash, and then I'll show you how I open it in our software. All right, we have read and save the D flash file. Now we're going to run the new version 1010 of Lock50. We're going to go ahead and run workshop. We'll choose a dump file, choose the dump file. And this is the information we can see. We can see the Vin number, we can see the SK. And then we can see that we have two keys. I'm going to go ahead and emulate key number one. So next step will be this is our hardware, and this is our hardware. That's that's the new style Emulator. We're going to place an Emulator right on top of the Lock50. And then we're going to go ahead and hit copy key. We'll choose key number one. You can choose one or two. In our case, we're going to choose key number one. And then go ahead and okay, that it's asking us to set the Emulator on the device. And that's all. We're going to go ahead and check the key. So we can have a confirmation before even trying it on the vehicle. And you can see that everything this is fine. The check keyless ID fails. That's not a problem. Everything is confirmed and working. And in the next video, I'll show you how it works on the vehicle and how it gets it out of alarm mode. Hello, everyone. Sean with Lock50.co.uk.
