Welcome to the introduction on the new OBD Lock50 JLR key tool. The Lock50 HW04 OBD JLR key tool is the companion tool to our JLR key copy HW01 tool. Since 2017, when the change over happens for the JLR vehicles to the new types of PEPS smart keys. The programming new keys to these vehicles has not been so easy and has always required the change of RFA remote vehicle actuator modules, also know as the KVM module in the older vehicles. All the modules you see can be found in and Europe and rest of the world where modules are locked. Always locked and to add keys must replace RFA. Only Lock50 HW04 OBD JLR key tool can do this without module changes via OBD with full keyless and emergency start supported when the RFA and BCM is locked. 315 Mhz USA JLR vehicles, you will find these RFA modules and unlocked. Here no module change is required and you have full keyless supported with Lock50 OBD JLR key tool. Over to Jenny who will explain differences in new Lock50 JLR keys that can be used to copy key when modules are locked. Hi and welcome. Lock50 OBD JLR key tool can use the following keys that will be available soon. Budget range are not original and non-PEPS don't support UWB. Mid-range are original and non-PEPS don't support UWB. High range are original and support PEPS with UWB supported. This is the first time OEM keys can be used and can be programmed without module changes with keyless and emergency start supported.
