A technician demonstrates programming new keys for a 2024 Land Rover Defender using Lock50 tools. Initially, a spare key (Lock50 HW13) is added via RFA with HW03C. Subsequently, an OEM HW25 key is programmed via OBD, despite the RFA lock status being locked, successfully adding a third working key. The video showcases the simplicity of the process, concluding with a test of all three active key fobs for the latest model Defender.

Good afternoon. Here we have a 2024 Defender, the latest model. We've just programmed in a spare key. It's the original key. Spare key has been loaded in, and we have a new key we want to add in. Okay, okay, so let's get to it. Now that we have our two keys, we can go to the PEPS system. As you can see, RFA is Locked. Go to key learning, go to key learning, and I will add additional key. Add The key on the reader. Key fob has been detected. The key fob on the passenger seat. Move Key over there. Three keys there. We now have three keys. You don't want to add another key. Place all keys programmed on the passenger seat to complete operation, which we're going to do now. Okay, there we go. Let's test it on the vehicle. Okay. Look at that. One key working. Two keys working. Three keys working. As simple as that. Can't get much easier. Alright, thanks guys.

This video demonstrates preparing a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for key programming by disarming its alarm system using a Lock50 unit connected to a laptop. The presenter shows the wiring connections to the vehicle's CAN bus, specifically identifying the yellow-purple and orange-yellow wires. After connecting the Lock50 unit and running the software, the alarm is successfully disarmed, indicated by the car's mirrors unlocking and dashboard alarm light turning off, allowing for subsequent key programming.

Okay. So I am here at a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport at the auction, obviously. You can see my alarm is set because it has the red flashing light, even if the alarm's not going off, you know that the alarm is set. So, on this model, we just got our new Lock50. And so what I did was, we've got a plug in here, right? And then it goes down to our Lock50 unit. I actually had to remove this unit because it, when it came in there, this was connected here. And then what we're gonna do is I just put my uh, unit lines here. So we've got our RTS, which is our yellow, which actually goes to the CAN bus. And so, the yellow is gonna go to the yellow-purple or yellow-lavender. And then your green line, right? Which is going to be your, sorry, here, DPR. Your green line is gonna go to your orange and yellow underneath the seat on this model. So, there you go. So that's how you set it up. And you can see that now I am talking to the vehicle. And we'll, uh, we're gonna try to get it out of alarm mode and be able to program a key. We're hoping. So, we're going to go alarm off. And we're gonna say okay to start. And I'm doing this all in real time, of course. There you go. So it says successful. My mirrors just moved out from being locked and look at that, we're of course low battery, and our light's out. So, awesome. Now we're gonna program a key.
