Driver Condition Monitor (Driver Drowsiness Monitor) for Jaguar & Land Rover — activate the system that watches your driving inputs for signs of fatigue and prompts you to take a break. Set in software via the CCF and coded to your VIN / As-Built over OBD, remote & mobile, no parts required.
| Dropdown option | What it means |
|---|---|
| DDM fitted | Driver Condition / Drowsiness Monitor active — warns you when it detects signs of fatigue. |
| DDM not fitted | Driver Condition Monitor off. |
| Not supported | Vehicle / platform does not support this parameter. Do not select. |
| Error | Factory place-holder value — not a real choice, do not select. |
The dropdown above maps to these values in the Car Configuration File:
| CCF address | Parameter | Block | Byte | Bits | Values (from the CCF data set) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0x8247 | AdasDrvFatigue (Driver Condition Monitor) | 0x82 | 4 | 7–6 | 01 = not fitted, 02 = fitted. |
| 0x8255 | AdasDrvFatigueMenu | 0x82 | 5 | 5–4 | 01 = menu not fitted, 02 = menu fitted. |
| 0x4785 | DrvDrowsyMonDDM | 0x47 | 8 | 5–4 | 01 = Driver Drowsiness Monitor not fitted, 02 = fitted. |
| 0x4374 | CabinCamera (camera-based driver monitoring) | 0x43 | 7 | 4–3 | 01 = not fitted, 02 = fitted. |
| 0x5B87 | DriverIDCamera | 0x5B | 8 | 7–6 | 01 = not fitted, 02 = fitted. |
The original Driver Condition Monitor reads the Electronic Power Assisted Steering torque, the pedals and your driving pattern — it needs no camera, so it is a pure configuration change. The later cabin-camera driver monitoring needs the driver-facing camera physically fitted; we read your As-Built and only enable what the hardware supports.
Earliest model year the system existed on each line:
| Model | Platform | Model years | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Range Rover / Range Rover Sport | L405 / L494 | 2013–2022 | Driver Condition Monitor (steering-torque, coffee-cup warning) from launch. |
| Range Rover Evoque / Discovery Sport | L538 / L550 | 2012–2026 | Driver Condition Monitor across the range. |
| Discovery | L462 | 2017–2026 | Driver Condition Monitor standard. |
| Defender / Range Rover / Range Rover Sport | L663 / L460 / L461 | 2020–2026 | Driver Condition Monitor standard; camera-based driver monitoring on cabin-camera cars from ~2021. |
Earliest model year the system existed on each line. The steering-torque monitor is pure configuration; camera-based monitoring needs the cabin camera. We confirm by VIN.
Depending on model year and architecture, the Driver Condition Monitor is enabled by one of two methods. We pick the correct one for your VIN — you do not need to know which in advance.
Either route is performed over the OBD diagnostic port, remote and mobile, with no bench work and no parts. The change is reversible the same way.
