Copying a key is optional — you never have to pay a token for it.
Paying to copy a key (SW34) is optional — it only saves time. Instead you can swap in a new RFA module and adapt it using the New RFA programming already included in this package (SW27 unlocked BCM · SW28 locked BCM) at no per-job cost. Version B also works over DOIP and CAN cables. Note: on a locked RFA/KVM the token is still optional — SW28 lets you replace the module instead.

SW30 — adding OEM UWB/PEPS keys on a locked EVA2 system (locked RFA, 2021–2025+) works on Versions A, B, C and C+. On a locked EVA2 system keys are added over OBD when either the TCU is in Service Mode, or 2 keys are already programmed to the car (the software sees them, then adds the next key over OBD).
Single-function licences (add any one, any time)
On Version B, new-key and key-copy jobs run on low per-job tokens (see the key-cost table above) — there is no separate per-function licence to buy. When you want unlimited key duplication with no tokens, step up to Version C.

How upgrades & tokens work
- Every HW04 is the same hardware — your version is a licence unlocked in software, remotely.
- On Pay As You Use the tool is locked: each job is unlocked with a paid licence (a “token”).
- The higher your package, the cheaper every per-job licence becomes.
- To move up a tier you buy the upgrade licence below — no need to send the tool back.
- What you already paid on PAYG / per-job licences is credited towards your upgrade.
Software renewals & what they cost
Your first 12 months of software updates are included with every paid tier. After that, updates renew at the rate below — or take a one-off 24-month or lifetime plan and never think about it again. Renewals only cover new software updates; your tool keeps working on its current version either way.
