Telematics SOS / Emergency Call for Jaguar & Land Rover — Enable/disable emergency SOS call functionality and stolen vehicle tracking (EUCD203) Set in software via the CCF and coded to your VIN / As-Built over the OBD port — remote & mobile.
The dropdown above maps to these values in the Car Configuration File:
| CCF address | Parameter | Block | Byte | Bits | Values (from the CCF data set) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0x4E47 | eCallgasTank | 0x4E | 4 | 7–6 | 01 = Not Fitted, 02 = Fitted. |
| 0x4E57 | eCalldieselTank | 0x4E | 5 | 7–6 | 01 = Not Fitted, 02 = Fitted. |
| 0x4E87 | eCallelecEnergyStorage | 0x4E | 8 | 7–6 | 01 = Not Fitted, 02 = Fitted. |
| 0x2477 | Telematics 2 | 0x24 | 7 | 7–0 | 00 = No Feature Fitted (No TCU), 28 = InControl Protect (Telematics Only) TCU1, 2B = InControl Protect and InControl Connect (Telematics and NLI WiFi/Hotspot) TCU1, 38 = InControl Protect (Telematics Only) TCU3(T), 3B = InControl Protect and InControl Connect (Telematics and NLI WiFi/Hotspot) TCU3(L), 3C = InControl Protect and InControl Connect Pro (Telematics and NGI Connectivity) TCU2 or TCU3(H), and further values. |
The Telematics SOS / Emergency Call option sets the Car Configuration File values above. It needs the TCU with eCall capability. Where the hardware is present but the option was never enabled we switch it on; software cannot add hardware that is not fitted — we check your As-Built first and set only what your car carries.
Earliest model year the options existed on each line:
| Model | Platform | Model years | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Discovery / Defender / Evoque / Discovery Sport | L462 / L663 / L551 / L550 | 2017–2026 | EVA1/EVA2 architectures where the flag exists. |
| Jaguar F-Pace / XF / XE / I-Pace | X761 / X260 / X760 / X590 | 2017–2026 | Jaguar lines on the same architectures. |
| Range Rover / Range Rover Sport | L460 / L461 | 2022–2026 | Current MLA platforms. |
Earliest model years the CCF flag existed on each line; availability depends on fitted hardware and market. We confirm by VIN before any change.
Depending on model year and architecture, Telematics SOS / Emergency Call is enabled by one of two methods. We pick the correct one for your VIN — you do not need to know which in advance.
Either route is performed over the OBD diagnostic port, remote and mobile. Where the feature needs hardware your car does not carry, the hardware must be fitted first — software cannot add it. The change is reversible the same way.
