• Unlocked Modules: Standard OBD key adding is 100% FREE (£0) across all tiers — no tokens needed.
• Locked Modules: For KVM, duplicate via OBD or direct cable (SW34). For locked UWB RFA, duplicate via HW03-C direct connection cable (SW36) into Lock50 Change-ID keys — direct connection is required to enable UWB keyless door functions. (2017–2020 non-UWB OBD copy uses SW35 on HW04-C/C+ only).
• Dump File Operations: Key adding or slot copying directly in MCU dump files is 100% FREE (£0) on all packages.

How upgrades & tokens work
- Every HW04 is the same hardware — your version is a licence unlocked in software, remotely.
- On Pay As You Use the tool is locked: each job is unlocked with a paid licence (a “token”).
- The higher your package, the cheaper every per-job licence becomes.
- To move up a tier you buy the upgrade licence below — no need to send the tool back.
- What you already paid on PAYG / per-job licences is credited towards your upgrade.
Software Updates & Renewals
First 12 months included free. Updates renew at £1,000/year after year one (or £1,800 for 24 months / £3,000 lifetime). Hardware never locks out: your tool continues working on its existing software version indefinitely.
