What SW38 does
- When you fit a new RFA with higher software than the current GWM and BCM support, it is safer to downgrade the RFA than to upgrade the BCM (and GWM) first just to add keys.
How to do it
- Go to Special Functions → RFA Downgrade.
- Go back to the RFA in the module list — it now updates fine and accepts keys.
- After adding the keys you can upgrade the GWM, BCM and RFA to the highest software, or leave them on the older levels.
Downgrading the RFA avoids upgrading the BCM and GWM before you can add keys — less work and less risk.
Hardware and packages
- Runs on HW04-B or HW04-C over OBD.
