PHEV EV-Charging Config for Jaguar & Land Rover — enable or repair the plug-in hybrid EV-charging configuration on P400e / PHEV models, restoring charge-port operation and charge scheduling after module work or where the config is disabled. Set via the CCF and coded to your VIN / As-Built over OBD, remote & mobile.
| Dropdown option | What it means |
|---|---|
| Enable / repair EV charging (P400e) | Restores/enables the plug-in EV-charging configuration — select this to fix or activate charging on a PHEV. |
The dropdown above maps to these values in the Car Configuration File:
| CCF address | Parameter | Block | Byte | Bits | Values (from the CCF data set) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0x5D43 | Charging Inlet | 0x5D | 4 | 3–0 | 02 = AC Type 1, 03 = AC Type 2, 05 / 06 = AC plus DC combo (CCS), 07 = DC GB/T, 08 = CHAdeMO, 09 = NACS. |
| 0x7153 | Conventional Charging | 0x71 | 5 | 3–2 | 01 = not fitted, 02 = fitted. |
| 0x5B27 | Plug and Charge Function | 0x5B | 2 | 7–6 | 01 = disabled, 02 = enabled. |
| 0x6D51 | EV Charging Schedule | 0x6D | 5 | 1–0 | enables timed / scheduled charging (model specific). |
The PHEV EV-Charging Config sets the charging inlet type, plug-and-charge and scheduled-charging options on plug-in hybrid cars. It needs the PHEV charging hardware fitted. Where the hardware is present but an option was never enabled we switch it on; software cannot add a charging inlet that is not fitted — we check your As-Built first and set only what your car carries.
Earliest model year the options existed on each line:
| Model | Platform | Model years | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Range Rover / Range Rover Sport P400e | L405 / L494 | 2018–2022 | PHEV charging options where the charge hardware is fitted. |
| Land Rover Defender PHEV | L663 | 2021–2026 | Plug-in hybrid charging on the current Defender. |
| Range Rover / Range Rover Sport PHEV | L460 / L461 | 2022–2026 | PHEV charging options on the current platforms. |
Earliest model year PHEV charging existed on each line; plug-in hybrid only; needs the charge hardware fitted. We confirm by VIN.
Depending on model year and architecture, the PHEV EV-Charging Config is enabled by one of two methods. We pick the correct one for your VIN — you do not need to know which in advance.
Either route is performed over the OBD diagnostic port, remote and mobile, with no bench work and no parts. The change is reversible the same way.
