What SW39 does

Adapt used IPC clusters using the Virginise function.
All work is done over OBD — you never open the IPC or IPCB cluster.
Retrofit the client’s new or used IPC modules in minutes.

IPC and IPCB — two networks

The IPC communicates over CAN.
The newer IPCB (instrument panel cluster B) on the latest-generation JLR vehicles communicates over DoIP — add the DoIP / ENET capability and connect with the HW03-E OBD / DoIP cable.

Everything is done through the OBD port — no cluster is opened and no bench work is needed.

Hardware and cars

Runs on HW04 over OBD; IPCB / DoIP work uses the HW03-E cable.
Cars: Jaguar and Land Rover using IPC (CAN) and the latest-generation IPCB (DoIP).

Who can use SW39 - package gating

HW04-C+ - SW39 is built in. Unlimited use, no token (HW04-C+ kit).
HW04-C - not included. Two ways: buy a per-job SW39 token (£300 + VAT per IPC/IPCB virgin job), or upgrade HW04-C to HW04-C+ (£6,000 + VAT, £7,200 inc. VAT) for unlimited use.
Pay As You Use, HW04-A and HW04-B - SW39 is NOT available and tokens cannot be bought on these tiers. You must be on HW04-C (token) or HW04-C+ (included). Upgrade first: PAYG to C, A to C, B to C, or straight to C+ (PAYG, A, B).
