What SW25 does

  • Turns the UWB / PEPS keyless system ON or OFF in the CCF with a single click over OBD.
  • Gives you and your clients more key options — you no longer have to fit Original UWB keys.
  • Needs an unlocked BCM and an unlocked RFA module on the car.

When you use it

  • When the RFA was locked and the vehicle has UWB PEPS keys, and you want to program new keys by swapping to a new unlocked RFA — so you can avoid using Original UWB keys.
  • When you want to use cheaper keys without losing functions for the driver: turn UWB off in the BCM (1 click) and remove the need for OEM UWB keys.
  • On a spare key job you can program the client's existing working keys back and avoid handing over another OEM UWB key.

HW23 to HW26 — PEPS OEM keys The keys the dealers use. Program back the client's working keys on a spare-key job and avoid another OEM UWB key.
HW15 to HW16 — Non-PEPS OEM keys Keyless start, but you lose keyless entry on the doors — press the button on the key to lock / unlock the doors.
HW17 or HW18 — Non-PEPS Non-OEM keys Keyless entry and keyless start — works the same as the UWB keys. Can be Lock50 keys or keys from any supplier when the RFA is unlocked.
Requires an unlocked BCM and an unlocked RFA. With the RFA unlocked you can fit Lock50 or any-supplier keys and keep full keyless enter-and-start using the HW17 / HW18 option.
