What SW15 does

  • Reads the key IDs from the Defender DH12 ALM ECU (LR084667, MCU S9S08DZ128, 2048-byte EEPROM) dump and copies a key onto a Lock50 HW11 (433 MHz) / HW12 (315 MHz) key.
  • The copy is a full PCF7953 key with remote and keyless — works as spare key or for all keys lost.
  • ALM part numbers: DH12-15K600-AB (DH1215K600AB) and DH12-15K600-BC (DH1215K600BC).
  • Each key ID stored in the ALM can be copied / learned 2 times as a spare (also via OBD in SDD) — the module does not disable lost keys, so any stored ID can be copied.

How it works

  1. Remove the DH12 ALM and read the S9S08DZ128 EEPROM dump (2048 bytes) on the bench.
  2. Open SW15 on HW04 / HW01 and load the dump — the stored key IDs are listed.
  3. One working key: copy the other stored key ID. All keys lost: copy any stored ID.
  4. Write the copy onto a Lock50 HW11 (433 MHz) or HW12 (315 MHz) key (match the car frequency) — remote and keyless work straight away.

  • Runs on HW04 (any package A to C+) and on HW01. The key is read on the tool’s own antenna — bench job, no car, no OBD.
  • Module: Defender DH12 ALM ECU LR084667 — Freescale S9S08DZ128, EEPROM 2048 bytes.
  • Keys: Lock50 HW11 (433 MHz) / HW12 (315 MHz) Defender 2-button change-ID keys (PCF7953); HW05 (433 MHz) / HW06 (315 MHz) also usable.
  • Cars: Land Rover Defender L316 2007–2016 (LEAR keyless system).

Key facts

  • Bench dump copy — no dealer key, no OBD needed; spare key and all-keys-lost both covered.
  • Each stored key ID can be copied 2 times; lost keys are not disabled by the ALM.
  • Older LUCAS-system fobs are not supported (LTB00893).
