Lock50 HW11 JLR Change-ID Key — 433 MHz
The Lock50 HW11 is an OEM-style 2-button remote key for the Land Rover Defender, running on PCF7953P (Hitag Pro / ID49) at 433 MHz — part reference DH12-15K601-BA. It has keyless start in the car; entry is by pressing the button on the key (remote lock / unlock) — there is no passive keyless entry.
Every Lock50 key is a Change-ID key: it can be written up to 10 times to copy a key. Once the copy is done you simply hand the finished key to your customer.

Learn via dealer software (SDD)
The standard dealer route — learn the key through SDD / dealer software over OBD. When prompted, press a button on the HW11 to learn it as a spare key to the vehicle.

Key-to-key copy
Best when you already have a working key. Read the existing key on the Lock50 HW01 or HW04 and copy it straight onto the HW11 in seconds — no vehicle, no tokens.

Dump-to-key copy
When you have no working key: write from a KVM dump to the HW11 with the Lock50 HW01 or HW04. Defender KVM part refs: DH1215K600AB / DH1215K600BC (2-plug).

Bench copy with HW03-CB — no opening
Tools required
To write data to this key you need the Lock50 HW01 JLR Key Tool or the Lock50 HW04 OBD Tool. Bench copy without opening the module uses the HW03-CB KVM/RFA 2-in-1 test cable (with the HW03-D OBD cable). These keys work on the KVM: a new key is added over OBD when the KVM is unlocked, and copied over OBD when it is locked.

Advice for clients
Identify the key first with SW01. On the classic Defender the key is copied from the ALM module dump using SW15 — works for a spare or when all keys are lost. If you already have a good unlocked key, a direct SW10 key-to-key copy is the fastest route, and a locked key can be recovered with SW11 without opening it. There is no OBD add-key route for these keys.
